Nulsen Primary School cross country running training takes place on a Tuesday and Thursday morning. The schools cross country teams have performed admirably over recent years. In 2017 the boys’ team were champions of the local district. The school also provided the champion boy’s runner-up boy for the fastest time.

In 2018, the boys’ team were runners up, been beaten less than a metre at the finish of a 10km relay race. Each runner has to run approximately 1.6km, and it is a test of stamina, perseverance and endurance. The school again provided the champion boy’s runner up.

The development of the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams is an important part of our Physical Education program, and gives the students the confidence and resilience to challenge themselves and strive towards their personal best.
