Nulsen Primary School is proud to partner with the Clontarf Foundation, an organisation dedicated to improving the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, equipping them to participate meaningfully in society.
We are fortunate to be one of only a small number of primary schools in Western Australia delivering a Clontarf Academy program. At Nulsen PS, the program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander boys in Years 3–6, allowing us to build strong relationships with students from an early age and support them before they transition to secondary school.
The Clontarf program works closely with families to support regular school attendance, encourage participation in the classroom and help students develop the skills and confidence they need for the future.
At Nulsen PS, we pride ourselves on providing consistency and positive opportunities for our boys. Through activities that promote health and wellbeing, leadership, teamwork, goal setting and community engagement, students are supported to build confidence, develop strong relationships and work towards positive life outcomes.
