Intervention

At Nulsen Primary School, intervention is all about providing students with the extra support they need to feel confident, capable, and successful in their learning. Through targeted literacy and numeracy support, students are given opportunities to strengthen key skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Using evidence-based programs, small-group learning, and classroom data, staff work closely with students to identify individual needs and provide teaching at their point of need. Intervention sessions are designed to build confidence, improve engagement, and help students make steady progress while remaining connected to their classroom learning.

Our approach focuses on positive relationships, consistency, and explicit teaching, ensuring every student feels supported and empowered to achieve success at their own pace.
